My wife and I have been looking for a home for over two years. We’ve worked with a couple of realtors in the past but the experience wasn’t that great at all until we were contacted by Tammy Mrotek. After some time my wife and I used a Remax app to see a home and that’s when we met Tammy. This is a person with a passion for what she does day in and day out. Tammy’s passion for my wife and I to have a home that fits for my 16 year old daughter, my wife and I was such a great experience. My wife and I just had to get a review out for anyone looking to purchase a home. Tammy took the time to listen to every detail we shared with her in the type of home we were looking for both online and driving around the suburbs. Tammy answered all of our questions and helped us look for key details in buying a home. A couple examples is in making sure we asked about how old the furnace and water heater was and about any repairs those pieces of equipment may of had over the years. We learned so much with Tammy from what HOA (Home Owners Association) covers on a Condo versus a townhomes. The differences between the two were something we knew nothing about and Tammy explained the differences us. Tammy shared her thoughts on rooms sets as details as TV placements and the challenges with the rooms in each unit we visited. We checked the cabinets and Tammy was able to see so many details from bathrooms that needed caulking to rug stretching. Tammy checked all the appliances, drawers on the cabinets to see their wear and tear. Tammy shared ideas on homes that needed minor cosmetic details to have them stand out on a few homes we’ve visited. Tammy definitely has many years of experience in seeing things we could not event think off as first time home buyers. The experience was so good we miss those home visits with Tammy. The final result is we landed a beautiful home with a beautiful kitchen, patio and an fantastic layout for what we were looking for in a home. Tammy explained to us everything that came into play from making an offer to countering. We’ve learned about earnest money, home inspections, negotiating and the positives and negative challenges in buying a home. Meaning what to look for in the homes values according to the market it is in to even getting us connected to a private lender versus a big corporate bank were you are just a number in line for a mortgage versus a lender who is more personal in helping you make a decision in buying a home. Tammy Mrotek is incredibly personable and exceptionally GREAT at her job. My wife and I are happy to say we’re first time home owners and cannot thank her enough for the passion she put into getting us settled in a beautiful home.
